OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH The Barratt Foundation
In 2024, The Barratt Foundation selected Street League as a national partner, making an initial donation of £300,000 to help tackle youth unemployment across the UK. This generous contribution has supported over 1,500 unemployed young people, enabling at least 700 of them to secure and sustain stable, meaningful employment.
In April 2024 Street League had the privilege of hosting the first-ever Barratt Redrow Games for Good. With 300 Barratt Redrow colleagues taking part and an additional £100,000 raised, the event was a powerful example of what can be achieved when purpose meets action. Young people supported by Street League played a vital role throughout the day - from setting up and running activities to engaging directly with professionals.

The Barratt Foundation was established to help communities across the UK thrive, focusing on supporting children, young people, and the most disadvantaged in society. In the 2024 financial year, the Foundation donated an impressive £4 million.
Speaking about the partnership, Dougie Stevenson, CEO of Street League, said:
“We are over the moon with this donation from The Barratt Foundation. It will make a monumental difference to our mission—enabling social mobility by helping thousands of unemployed young people become healthier, gain qualifications, and enter meaningful employment. This partnership allows us to continue supporting young people across the country, helping them face challenges head-on and build brighter futures. We extend our deepest gratitude to The Barratt Foundation for choosing Street League and look forward to realising the full potential of this alliance.”
Andy Button-Stephens, Head of The Barratt Foundation, added:
“Our investment in Street League reflects the incredible work they do to tackle youth unemployment across Scotland and England. We’re honoured to support the charity with this significant donation. With so many 16 to 30-year-olds struggling, we know our support will make a real difference, and we look forward to working closely with the Street League team.”
